Nikos DimitriouBorn and raised in Chalkida, Evoia. He spent 7 consecutive years on “vacations” in Athens (BSc in Economics), island of Skyros (served his military service in the Greek Navy) and the University of Warwick where he took his Master degree (MSc in Engineering Business Management). He has changed four working environments in the last five years. He specializes in the field of Warehouse & Logistics Management and after numerous attempts to get a job in abroad (has sent hundreds of resumes and always receives a negative response in the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, India and Cyprus), he eventually landed in a multinational italian company in which he stayed for a longer period of one year.
He loves traveling, traveling and traveling. He has no other interests at all (except folk dancing the last two years). He hates also any social contract that has to do with wedding, Greek private tolls across public highways, taxes and national elections. While growing up, he realized that he can't wait for the next day-off (or even begging for it) or the classic summer vacations so as to travel around the world. Unfortunately, terms like "gap year" or "sabbatical" are unknown in the Greek Labour Law. He decided, then, to make a step forward. He took the decision to make his dream come true. The tour of Africa. From every aspect, it is not the easiest thing in the world. His affair with Georgia (aka Jossie) made him think further about getting a bigger tour.. The tour of the world!
Georgia Micheli
Born and raised in Evoia. She grew up in Aliveri until the age of 18, while she spent her own “vacations” in Kavala (North Greece). She has studied Oil & Gas Engineering and of course she never practiced what she studied. There is no such a job market in Greece! She spent the last 4 years working as a quality control analyst in a winery in Chalkida.
